SPRAT Rope Access Training

We are proud to offer comprehensive SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) training designed to meet the highest standards of the industry. Our SPRAT rope access training is meticulously structured to ensure every participant gains the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to perform rope access work safely and effectively.

How SPRAT Training Works

SPRAT training follows a rigorous syllabus that is divided into three levels, each with specific objectives and competencies:

Level 1

Rope Access Worker

  • Overview: This level is for beginners and focuses on basic rope access skills.
  • Skills Covered: Ascending, descending, rope changeovers, rescue procedures, equipment handling, and understanding the principles of fall protection.
  • Evaluation: Participants must demonstrate proficiency in the skills covered and pass a written and practical examination.
  • Must be 18 years of age

Level 2

Rope Access Technician

  • Overview: This intermediate level is for rope access technicians with more experience and focuses on advanced techniques.
  • Skills Covered: Complex rigging, advanced rescue scenarios, use of advanced equipment, and supervision of Level 1 technicians.
  • Evaluation: Participants must demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge through a comprehensive assessment process.
  • 6 Months + 500 Rope Hours as a Level 1

Level 3

Rope Access Supervisor

  • Overview: This advanced level is for highly experienced technicians who will take on supervisory roles.
  • Skills Covered: Advanced rescue techniques, job planning, risk assessment, rescue planning, and managing a team of rope access technicians.
  • Evaluation: Participants must pass a rigorous examination to demonstrate their ability to supervise and manage complex rope access operations.
  • 6 Months + 500 Rope Hours as a Level 2

Private Rope Access Lessons
